Xfm online report that Radiohead will definitely be headlining Saturday night at the Glastonbury Festival, joining PJ Harvey and REM.
The line up of Glastonbury is traditionally a closely guarded secret, with festival organiser Michael Eavis’ normally announcing the acts only a month before the event itself. However since REM announced they would be headlining one of the three nights of the festival (which has only just been granted a licence), there has been massive conjecture about who else would join the line up.
After they announced a series of European Festival dates around the same time, it was widely rumoured that Radiohead would be playing, and now (in a move understood to have been taken to end the relentless gossip) organisers have confirmed that Thom Yorke and his jovial band of musical minstrels will be performing at the 2003 Glastonbury Festival taking place over the weekend of June 27 to 29.
