	The T in the Park music festival has beaten Glastonbury to win the top prize at this year's UK Festival Awards. The event, held in July near Kinross in Scotland, won best major festival and an award for best facilities and organisation in the public vote. The Bestival event on the Isle of Wight won the innovation award and best medium-sized festival. US rock band the Foo Fighters were the most popular act, winning best headliner and best rock act. Geoff Ellis, of T in the Park promoters Big Day Out, thanked the event's audience for their support. "It is, from my own experience and from what I'm told by almost every artist that plays the event, the best in the world," he said. 	FOO FIGHTERS and GREEN DAY are to headline this year’s T IN THE PARK festival in Scotland. The event will take place from July 9th and 10th 2005 Other Bands include The Killers, Ian Brown, Kasabian, Prodigy, Audioslave, Embrace, Keane, Razorlight, Biffy Clyro, The Streets, Beautiful South and The Coral.
