An Evening with Katherine Jenkins & the National Symphony Orchestra festival tickets, RHS Garden Wisley, Woking Get ready for the Time of Your Life at Wisley Music Festival this summer! After another resounding success in summer 06, the Wisley Music Festival has firmly established itself in the events calendar. It's renowned as a wonderful way for friends, families or couples to spend an evening together, enjoying a glass of bubbly and a picnic on the lawns of the RHS's famous garden. The 2007 line up boasts a season of showstoppers and to finish each night on a high, the sky above Wisley is lit up by celebratory fireworks. The glamorous Welsh opera superstar Katherine Jenkins, the only classical artist ever to have made the top 10 album charts, will grace the Wisely stage in one of only a handful of summer concerts. If it's timeless tunes you're after The Music of Dirty Dancing is a must for anyone who has ever sung into a hairbrush as a teenager and danced like nobody was watching. After selling out in record time last year, Killer Queen are back by popular demand, as the first half of a double bill with the Counterfeit Stones in their tribute to the ultimate kings of rock 'n' roll. An Evening with Katherine Jenkins & the National Symphony Orchestra Thursday 7 June Katherine Jenkins is pioneering a new genre of Opera superstar. Still only 26, she is the fastest selling classical artist since Maria Callas, outselling operatic greats like Kiri te Kanawa, Lesley Garrett and Angela Gheorghiu. She is the only artist to have scored three number one albums in the classical charts in the same year and the first mezzo-soprano ever to break into the top 20 pop charts. Katherine's musical selections for Wisley will include show-tunes, Welsh songs and famous classical arias. Anthony Inglis conducts.
